I mean, its definitely a great restaurant to visit at least once!!! The food its amazing, and the service always on point with always a smile. A very good ambiance for a dinner for two or a group of friends etc... not my first time and definitely not the last! Cheers!
A favourite of mine especially the prime rib dinner. About 30 minute wait but a holding bar is available and they carried all the appetizers and drinks when our table was ready. There are stairs and multiple levels to the restaurant and so accessibility may be a consideration for some. Staff were friendly and attentive.
Daniel was our waiter and he was super attentive! He answered all our questions and gave us his opinions, checked in on us, and made sure we were happy with our meals. he even let us know of cocktails that weren’t on the menu. The food was also excellent!
The food, as always, was very good. We ordered filet mignon, fries, shrimp cocktail, green salad and Mac and cheese. All good. We had never tried the MAC AND CHEESE before it is really good. Free refills on soft drinks. The service from Liam was excellent. Perfect service. Friendly, professional and lovely. I would ask to be in his section for sure.
And I'm back again at one of my favorite spots in Ottawa. Yet again, this location does not disappoint at all! Did not have a booking but got seated quick for a Friday evening. The service was fantastic and friend! The food is incredible and quick. The Atmosphere epic! I had the Rib Steak served with fries, mushrooms, beats, and beans. Steak was succulent, soft, and juicy! The beats to perfection along with the mushrooms! If only i could fault this plate, but I simply could not! Jacob, our server was amazing! He was tentative and was sharp serving the table! I bet with the general manager and expressed my appreciation to him and his entire staff! This Keg is worth every experience! Please support the great team at this Keg!
Went to the Keg recently for date night and it was great. We hadn’t been since 2019, so we weren’t sure what to expect. We had a great waiter, Theo, and he was very attentive all night, as well as very friendly. We didn’t feel rush, which is appreciated given the cost of this type of dinner. We slowly started the evening by grabbing a drink - they have a good cocktail selection, however, their types of gin were limited. Before the appetizer we got the warm bread service. Great way to start the evening and I really appreciated the special cheese and herb butter. We shared the scallops appetizer and it was very delicious. The scallops were cooked perfectly, but for the price it was a small portion. I then grabbed a wedge salad - just WOW! It was a nice big portion, the lettuce was crunchy and I had more blue cheese dressing and crumble than I could’ve expected. I grabbed the sirloin with garlic mash potatoes, and I wasn’t disappointed. The steak was a perfect medium and the potatoes were creamy. The veggies in the plate were not overcooked and was happily surprised the have roasted beets in my plate. My wife grabbed the baseball steak and it was cooked perfectly! It was tender, juicy and easy to cut. The fries were not great, however, they weren’t crispy or salted enough. Would definitely come again for a date night!
A nice restaurant with good atmosphere and food. The lobster I got is a bit overpriced but the dishes my friends got were both Perry good. Not so much for families with toddlers but definitely good for family reunions and business.
I recently visited The Keg and had another amazing experience. The food was fantastic as always, and the salmon was cooked to perfection. I also tried the espresso martini, which was a great choice to complement the meal. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was top-notch. The Keg never disappoints and is definitely worth a visit!
